Job summary

ABP Langport is recruiting Production Operatives to join our Boning Hall team at Langport. This is an on-site role with hours 6:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday, and a rolling rest day with a four-day weekend every five weeks.

You will ensure products are packaged and processed to ABP and customer specifications, while upholding food safety, quality and hygiene standards as part of a supportive team. Full training provided and permanent roles available.

Production Operative

About the Role

As a Production Operative, you will play an important role in ensuring products are packaged and processed to both ABP and customer specifications. You will work as part of a team to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out production tasks in line with ABP and customer requirements.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Trim and process products to maximise yield while following company procedures and legislative requirements.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain PPE and ensure equipment issues are reported promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and take responsibility for your own work.
• Participate in training to develop skills and support continuous improvement.
