Job summary

Dunbia Group in Sawley, near Gisburn, England, is hiring for a permanent, full-time role with afternoon-evening shifts from 3.15pm to 11.45pm, Monday to Friday. Full training is provided and there are opportunities for progression, including butchery skills training.

Responsibilities

• Work within departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain pace of work for filling bags and crates with products.
• Collaborate with Managers and the team to hit department targets.
• Meet customer and company specifications in output and quality.
• Keep work areas clean and tidy following 'clean as you go'.
• Promote Health, Safety and Hygiene standards per company rules.
• Follow instructions, be safety conscious, and flexible to duties.
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and reliability; work independently and in a team.
• Undergo full training with potential progression including butchery skills.

The successful candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a strong commitment to providing exceptional quality for our customers. Working hours are afternoon into evening from 3.15pm to 11.45pm, Monday to Friday.

• To work within departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Maintain the pace of work in line with production needs in terms of filling bags and crates with products
• Work with the Managers and wider Team to achieve the department targets
• Ensure customer and company specifications are achieved
• Work to a clean as you go policy, ensuring your work area is kept clean and tidy
• Promote and maintain Health, Safety and Hygiene standards in accordance with company rules and regulations.
• Be able to follow instructions and procedures
• Be safety conscious
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Have a commitment to quality work and reliability
• Be willing to gain new skills and experiences
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative whilst also working as part of a team

Full training is provided, and there are many progression opportunities including undertaking butchery skills training
