Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Evesham WR11

Pay: £12.21 - £15.26

gap personnel Gloucester, operating as an employment business are currently recruiting for Production Line Operatives, in Evesham, Worcestershire (WR11).

You will be joining a business that is a leading name in the fresh produce industry, specialising in the sourcing and supply of fresh fruit to the UK market. They are proud to work with one of Britain’s best-known retailers and other foodservice customers, delivering consistently great quality fresh fruit, whatever the time of year

Working as a Packing Line Operative has a variety of tasks such as:

• Packing of singular and multiple products
• Loading and unloading of containers
• Grading, weighing and labelling of fruit
• Palletising safely for despatch
• Quality checks such as bruising and damage

The site operates 7 days a week running shift:

Monday to Sunday, 6am - 15:00PM

Back shift - Monday – Friday 4pm – 1am + weekends back shift starting at 3pm – midnight.

Night shift available - Monday - Thursday, 1am - 6am ( possibility to stay until 10am , to make hours up to have full 8 hours shift )

You can chose to work full time ( 5-6 days )

Pay Rates :

Basic rate - £12.21 p/h

Overtime after 40 hours : £15.26 p/h

Any hours completed after 22:00 paid at £13.43 p/h

The roles are ongoing temporary work with opportunities to go permanent with the client after completion of minimum 12 weeks of work.
