Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is assisting a client in Cheshire to recruit a Production Operative. You will work Monday to Friday with fixed shifts: Monday-Thursday 07:00-13:00 and Friday 07:00-16:30, earning £12.76 per hour.

Overtime is paid at 1.5× on overtime hours and Sundays are paid at double time. Duties include manufacturing and assembly, machine operation, quality control, packaging, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace in line with production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembly of door components according to production specifications.
• Machine operation: feed raw materials or parts into manufacturing tools and automated machinery.
• Quality control: inspect finished doors and parts for defects or cosmetic flaws.
• Packaging and prep: wrap, label and prepare completed products for storage and dispatch.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols, keep the workspace clean, and report any equipment faults.

As a Production Operative your working hours and days are:

• Monday- Friday
• Monday- Thursday 07:00- 13:00
• Friday 07:00- 16:30

The rate of pay as a Production Operative is:

• £12.76 p/h
• Overtime is £12.76 x 1.5
• Sunday- double time

The duties and responsibilities as a Production Operative are:

• Manufacturing & Assembly- build and assemble door components safely and accurately according to production specifications
• Machine Operator- feed raw materials or parts into manufacturing tools and automated machinery
• Quality Control- inspect finished doors and parts for structural defects or cosmetic flaws
• Packaging & Prep- wrap, label and prepare completed products for safe storage and dispatch
• Workplace Safety- follow strict Health & Safety protocols, keep the workspace clean, and report any equipment faults

The ideal candidate for a Production Operative would need:
