Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd in Wigan is seeking a Machine Operative for our client in Wigan. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00 with rotating pattern. The role involves running and monitoring machines, packing areas, and ensuring production targets are met.

The ideal candidate has prior Machine Operative experience, works well solo or in a team, and demonstrates good timekeeping and attention to detail on a busy factory floor.

• Able to work well individually or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Working in a production area with an allocated packing area or machine to run, set & monitor.
• Loading products to the correct measurements in machinery.
• Operating semi-automatic and fully automatic filling and packing machines.
• Being efficient on the factory floor to minimise downtime.
• Monitoring, controlling and recording information on paper and warehouse systems.
• Help improve the company where possible and co-operate with compliance standard.

As a Machine Operative your working hours and days are:

• Monday- Friday
• 06:00- 14:00 / 14:00- 22:00 (Rotating)

The rate of pay as a Machine Operative is:

• £13.30- £14.10 p/h
