Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd in Winnersh is seeking a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team. You will be involved in day-to-day manufacturing and assembly, helping ensure products meet quality standards while working to production targets.

The role offers a 6:00–14:00 Monday to Friday shift, a £12.88 per hour rate during the temporary period with potential for permanent contract after 12 weeks, and a friendly environment where accuracy, teamwork and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
• Able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Good communication skills and reliability.

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Winnersh. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term position with the potential to secure a permanent contract after a successful 12-week temporary period.

Working as part of a friendly production team, you will be involved in the day-to-day manufacturing and assembly process, helping to ensure products are produced to the highest quality standards.

The role of Production Operative:

• Measuring and loading materials into machinery
• Operating production machinery and equipment
• Carrying out quality checks and inspections
• Labelling, packing and preparing products for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following company Health and safety procedures
• Meeting production targets and deadlines

The Production Operative will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential
• Comfortable with lifting up to 25kg
