Job summary

Mach Recruitment Limited is seeking Food Production Operatives for shifts in our bakery icing department in Dronfield. Immediate start with week-on/week-off style schedules and long-term opportunities.

Day and night shifts are available with overtime options, and there is a temp-to-perm path for reliable performers. Expected duties include training across production stages, maintaining food safety standards, and working closely with a flexible team across bakery lines.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 preferred, training given
• Experience in food manufacturing, bakery preferred but not essential
• Able to work to a high standard in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to develop own skills and experience
• Willing to work as part of a shift team and on own initiative
• Start immediately and long-term role
• Able to work up to 12 hours per shift

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for Food Production Operatives to work days and nights

Day £12.85 an hour ; Nights £13.89 an hour; Overtime from £16.06 an hour to £17.36 an hour

Location: Dronfield S18 1PF, 2 Sisters Gunstone`s bakery

Immediate start

Shift pattern: Week 1 - Thursday to Saturday - 6pm to 6am OR Week 2 - Wednesday to Saturday - 6pm to 6am

The role:

We are currently looking for shift Bakery Team Members to join our Bakery Icing Department.

We want people who take a pride in their work, take ownership of their part of the production process, and are committed to delivering quality products for our customers.

As part of our core Bakery operating team, you will be trained against all identified tasks from goods inwards to despatch including required cleaning techniques and methodology.

With responsibility for your own and others' H&S, food safety and daily plan attainment, you will be working as part of a flexible team that will rotate through the key areas and Bakery production lines.

All team members will be expected to support their colleagues through buddy training where appropriate and able to do so.

About you:

As a Food Production Operative you will have the following skills and experience:

• Food Safety Level 2 preferred although training will be given
• Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment preferably bakery however not essential

• Able to work as part of a shift team and on own initiative

• Start immediately and are looking for long term work
• Able to work up to 12 hours per shift
