Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd is seeking a Production Operative to join a small manufacturing team on rotating AM/PM shifts. The role involves operating a multi-stage production line, ensuring insulation products are processed, cut, packed and stored safely.

You will follow SOPs, work to health and safety guidelines, and contribute to a reliable, on-time output. On offer is permanent employment with good benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous production, manufacturing or machine operating experience.
• Experience operating machinery and following procedures.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Physically fit for manual handling duties.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating production machinery and entering specifications via an HMI system.
• Adding materials to processing equipment and monitoring production.
• Cutting, sawing and packing finished insulation products.
• Handling raw materials and storing finished goods.

Looking for a permanent Production Operative job with a different shift pattern? Join a leading UK supplier of insulation products and enjoy a role with rotating weekly shift pattern and no weekends!

Pay and Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday: AM 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm Rotating Weekly
• £14.11 per hour plus 5% shift allowance
• £14.81 per hour including shift allowance
• Flexibility required for weekday shifts

The Role

Working as part of a small manufacturing team, you will help operate a multi-stage production line, ensuring products are processed, cut, packed and stored safely and efficiently.
