Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a permanent Production Operative on rotating AM/PM shifts (6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm) with no weekend work. The role pays £14.81 per hour (£30,816 per year) and includes a 5% shift allowance, with a typical Monday–Friday pattern.

You will operate a multi‑stage production line, feed materials, monitor the line using the HMI, cut and pack finished insulation, and keep to health and safety procedures as part of a small manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Previous production, manufacturing or machine operating experience.
• Experience operating machinery and following procedures.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

Pay and Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday: AM 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm Rotating Weekly - £14.11 per hour plus 5% shift allowance - £14.81 per hour including shift allowance
• Flexibility required for weekday shifts The Role Working as part of a small manufacturing team, you will help operate a multi-stage production line, ensuring products are processed, cut, packed and stored safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Operating production machinery and entering specifications via an HMI system.

Adding materials to processing equipment and monitoring production.

Requirements
