Job summary

Search Consultancy is hiring Production Operatives in Batley (WF17) for a modern, automated manufacturing environment. You will work with automated machinery, monitor production, perform quality checks and ensure safety and efficiency on a rotating shift pattern.

Starting pay is £13.73 per hour, with the opportunity to move to an annualised hours contract after 12 weeks and to secure long-term employment. Training is provided and punctual, reliable candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable working around machinery and automated processes.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Good attention to detail.

Job Title: Production Operative

About the Role

We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing unit in Batley.

This is a hands-on production role within a modern, highly automated environment, where you'll work alongside machinery to help manufacture and produce products efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll be part of a team, monitoring the production process, carrying out routine checks and ensuring everything is running smoothly and safely.

Working Hours - Rotating Shift Pattern

• Week 1: 5:50am - 2:00pm
• Week 2: 1:50pm - 9:30pm

After 12 weeks, employees will move onto an annualised hours contract, which includes a requirement to work 7 Saturdays per year.
