Job summary

Search Consultancy is hiring Production Operatives in Batley (WF17) for a modern, automated manufacturing environment. You will work with automated machinery, monitor production, perform quality checks and ensure safety and efficiency on a rotating shift pattern.

Starting pay is £13.73 per hour, with the opportunity to move to an annualised hours contract after 12 weeks and to secure long-term employment. Training is provided and punctual, reliable candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous production or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable working around machinery and automated processes.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside automated production machinery.
• Monitoring the production process and output.
• Carrying out routine quality checks.
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently.
• Completing repetitive production tasks when required.
• Identifying and reporting any issues with the production process.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Working effectively as part of a busy production team.
