Production Operative

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a skilled Production Operative to join a dynamic engineering company based in Basingstoke. Our client is looking for a candidate with a keen attention to detail to join their team and grow within their fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assembly and packing of machinery
2. Cleaning and conditioning of machinery parts
3. Carrying out quality checks on machines once assembled
4. Assembly of spare parts and stock items
5. Assist with quality and computer factory acceptance checks
6. Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirements for this role:

• Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Good time keeping & physically fit for lifting
• Clean driving license

The Production Operative role:

• Salary of £27,000 per annum depending on experience
• 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
• Medical cash plan
