Production Manager / Supervisor

£38-40K

Production Manager / Supervisor required to work for a specialist Electronics business near Woking. You will be an experienced and hands-on Manager/Supervisor used to managing a small team of production and assembly operatives specializing in Electronics, Soldering, Inspection, Wiring, Crimping, etc.

Working predominantly within the electronics industry, you should ideally have knowledge of electromechanical assembly environments and products.

The role is available due to progression; the current manager is stepping up within the business and is looking for someone to fulfill his role. Day-to-day, you will be hands-on within the team supporting the assembly of electronic products shipped worldwide. Your responsibilities include distributing work, liaising with operations management, updating work order status, and communicating with customers.

We seek a skilled leader with a proven background in the electronics industry, ideally working with high-end customers, including the military. You should have the knowledge and ability to review production processes, develop the team, implement process improvements, read schematic drawings, follow build sheets, and support packaging and dispatch to customers.

• Qualifications: A-level, HNC, or equivalent, or previous experience in a similar role
