Job summary

E3 Recruitment seeks a Production Manager for a well-established UK manufacturing organisation. This hands-on leadership role offers a relocation package, car allowance, double-figure pension contribution and an annual bonus.

You'll lead operations to run safely, efficiently and to quality standards, identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance and site effectiveness. Close collaboration with multiple teams and the Technical Department is required.

• Experience in managing manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day operations and the smooth running of site activities.
• Lead, manage and develop the Operations team, providing clear direction and practical support.
• Ensure operations activities are delivered efficiently and with effective cost control.
• Take the lead on resolving manufacturing and engineering issues, including the coordination of unusual or non-standard operations.
• Ensure the site consistently meets company requirements and relevant legislation covering quality, health and safety, environmental performance and people.
• Work collaboratively with the Technical Department, including the Research & Applications Manager, when required.
• Support business priorities by responding to operational requirements and contributing to projects assigned by the Board.
