Job summary

AVD Appoint Ltd seeks a Production Manager for a Bedfordshire-based operation. You will oversee a 20-strong shop floor team, driving output to meet KPI targets and supporting growth plans on a permanent basis. This is a Monday–Friday days role with an early finish on Fridays.

Essentially you should have prior Production Manager or similar experience in house building, modular buildings/MMC or the construction sector, with a proven track record of improving productivity and staff retention.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 20 shop floor operatives or similar teams.
• Proven track record in manufacturing/house building MMC sectors.
• Strong focus on meeting or exceeding KPIs and output targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage output from factory to meet KPI targets.
• Lead and motivate a 20-person shop floor team.
• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, Monday–Friday with early finish on Fridays.

Production Manager - up to 50,000 + Bonus + Benefits - Ref 2058

I am currently recruiting for a Production Manager to work for a key client of mine based in Bedfordshire. Salary up to 50,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

The organisation has been in operation for over 30 years and employ a significant number of people across the country. They have a phenomenal track record within their industry with nearly all of their work coming from referrals and recommendations.

To support the business with their growth plans and to be able to cope with the shear amount of work they have currently and pipelined, they have the need to appoint a Production Manager on a permanent basis.

In this role as a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the output from the factory ensuring all KPI's are met or exceeded, with a specific focus on output. You will be managing and leading a team of 20 shop floor operatives and skilled professionals, so motivating them to ensure you get the best out of them will form a large part of the role. This is a days role Monday-Friday, with an early finish on Fridays.

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience as a Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Factory Manager, Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar
• Previous experience working within the House Building, Modular Buildings / Construction, MMC or Construction sector
