Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Production Manager for a market-leading manufacturing site near Sittingbourne. The role involves leading and developing teams of production workers and implementing robust systems to drive operational excellence.

You will transfer knowledge from other industries, oversee multi-function teams across manufacturing operations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic, multi-site business.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable managerial experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures, Health and Safety, Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing 5s, etc.
• Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team.
• Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem-solving techniques, provide solutions and delegate responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams of multi-function production workers across manufacturing operations.
• Establish robust systems, aiming for world class manufacturing and operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement activities (OEE, TPM, 5S, etc).
