Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Production Manager to lead a large-scale, fast-paced manufacturing operation, delivering quality products on time. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage a team of Shift Managers and drive performance across operators and technicians.

This onsite role is five days a week from seven, with weekend work during peak trading. You will champion health and safety, KPI delivery and continuous improvement initiatives to grow site profitability.

Qualifications

• Production Manager/Operations Manager in a large-scale, fast-paced production environment (food manufacturing preferred).
• Proven track record delivering results with strong leadership and team development.
• Experience coaching managers to drive results and step-change operational performance.
• Good working knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and how to apply them to a business.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health and safety of all colleagues while maintaining and making improvements in all areas.
• Maintain a balanced scorecard against KPIs to drive further growth across the site.
• Maximising profits and drive performance improvement.
• Work with our current teams to drive the Continuous Improvement Strategy through colleague involvement and engagement.
