You will transfer knowledge from other industries, oversee multi-function teams across manufacturing operations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic, multi-site business.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable managerial experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational skills including efficient planning and implementation of systems and procedures, Health and Safety, Quality Systems, Lean Manufacturing 5s, etc.
• Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team.
• Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem-solving techniques, provide solutions and delegate responsibility.

Job description

This Production Manager Vacancy is located close to the Sittingbourne area. The business is a market-leading manufacturing organisation with a network of existing factories across the UK.

Within the position, you will take responsibility for the Production Workers for the manufacturing site, whilst establishing robust systems, working towards world class manufacturing and operational excellence.

This presents an outstanding opportunity for a high calibre Production Manager to transfer knowledge and experience from other or similar industries.

Within the position, you will be responsible for leading and developing teams of multi-function production workers across manufacturing operations, within a market-leading and multi-site manufacturing business.
