Job summary

You will plan and schedule production activities, lead a diverse team, monitor quality, and collaborate with sales, customer services, supply chain and despatch to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to customer specifications. Qualifications

• Previous production management experience within glass processing desirable.
• Production management experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of business processes, supply chain management, and quality control practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Highly organised, self-motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
• Computer literate for production planning, reporting, using bespoke software and Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production staff, providing guidance, training, and support
• Ensure that direct labour, raw materials and fabrication resources are used effectively and efficiently.
• Develop, engage, and build a dedicated and effective team
• Comply and educate staff on safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Help resolve employee issues

EE Glass is a leading manufacturer of Energy Efficient, insulated glass products, based in Portsmouth. We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes and ensure efficiency and quality in our production operations.

Hours:

Primarily day shift with some occasional flexibility to work different hours depending on the needs of the business.
