Job summary

BOC Limited, a Linde company, is seeking a Production Manager in Uttoxeter, United Kingdom, to lead the EffecTech Production function and ensure on-time, high-quality gas deliveries. The role requires coordinating resources, staff development, and ensuring adherence to quality standards while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the EffecTech Production function to ensure timely, high-quality gas deliveries.
• Familiarise with ISO 17034 accredited processes within the quality system.
• Resource staff and materials to maintain the production schedule.
• Recruit, manage and develop direct reporting staff through appraisal and training.
• Resource and prioritise work within the department in consultation with stakeholders.

What you will enjoy doing

• Manage the EffecTech Production function to ensure all gases and gas mixtures are delivered on time and to the highest quality
• Familiarisation with ISO 17034 accreditedprocesses within the quality system
• Resourcestaff and materials required to maintain the production schedule
• Recruit, manage, develop and motivate direct reporting staff through an appraisal and training framework, in accordance with company policies
• Resourcing and prioritising work within theirdepartment based on the requirements of the client and in consultation withother stakeholders

What makes you great

• You will have a degree qualification in a science/engineering disciplie or significant experience working in a gas mixture production environment
• Good knowledge relating to the measurement of gas quality and be familiar with the technical standards supporting these measurements
• Excellent communication skills with ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally at all levels
