Job summary

BOC Limited, a Linde company, in Immingham, is seeking a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance and engineering function, ensuring safety, reliability and full compliance across plant, equipment and infrastructure.

You will develop and deliver maintenance, reliability and engineering strategies that improve asset performance, increase efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs, while coaching the engineering team to grow capabilities and deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Strong technical engineering knowledge applied in a complex plant environment.
• Proven track record in delivering engineering and project management solutions.
• Experience building relationships with customers and stakeholders while providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance and engineering function to ensure safe, reliable operations and regulatory compliance.

• You will lead the maintenance and engineering function, ensuring plant, equipment and infrastructure operate safely, reliably and in full compliance with legal and company requirements
• Also develop and deliver maintenance, reliability and engineering strategies that improve asset performance, increase operational efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs
• You will Inspire, coach and develop the engineering team, building capability, supporting succession planning and fostering a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
• You will drive engineering improvement and capital projects that enhance reliability, energy efficiency and operational performance while delivering measurable business value
• As well as overseeing statutory inspections and regulatory compliance programmes, you will ensure planned maintenance activities are executed effectively to maintain safe and compliant operations
• In this position you will play a key role in optimising maintenance resources, budgets and critical spare parts management to minimise downtime, improve cost effectiveness and support uninterrupted production activities
