Job summary

Kerry at its Runcorn Taste & Nutrition facility is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Planner to efficiently plan, schedule and allocate non-emergency maintenance work. You will work closely with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to build robust maintenance plans and report on data within the department.

This full-time, permanent role requires strong planning skills, experience with Intelex and SAP PM, and a proactive approach to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and scheduling maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Good written and oral communication skills; able to negotiate maintenance needs with other departments.
• Solid understanding of safety standards and food safety considerations.

Responsibilities

• Adopt a Safety First approach when planning maintenance work.
• Plan, schedule and control non-emergency maintenance workflow from origination to assignment.
• Manage day-to-day task allocation from the Intelex system.
• Coordinate parts, machine availability and maintenance engineer time.
• Liaise with production, supply chain and maintenance to meet plant objectives.
• Keep teams informed on critical situations and seek guidance as needed.
• Ensure maintenance aligns with engineering standards including safety and ergonomics.
• Identify opportunities to improve working methods and preventive maintenance regimes.
• Maintain audit-ready records and reports of maintenance activities.
• Record activity using Excel, COUPA, CMMS, SAP PM and Intelex.
