Job summary

Kerry is seeking an Engineering Maintenance Planner based at the Runcorn Taste & Nutrition production facility. You will plan, schedule and allocate non-emergency maintenance work, liaising with Engineering, Production and Supply Chain to build robust maintenance plans and timely reports.

You will use Intelex, Excel, SAP PM and other systems to manage activities, maintain audit-ready records, and ensure compliance with safety and food safety standards while driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance or engineering role with understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Manufacturing environment experience and familiarity with maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong written and verbal communication, tact in balancing needs across departments.
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office and SAP (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Adopt a Safety First and Quality Always approach when planning maintenance work.
• Plan, schedule and control non-emergency maintenance workflow from origination to assignment.
• Manage day-to-day task allocation from the Intelex system.
• Coordinate parts, machine availability and maintenance engineers' time.
• Liaise with production, supply chain and maintenance to meet maintenance objectives.
