Job summary

HRGO are recruiting for a Machine Operative in Kirkby. This is a temporary contract with a view to permanent after 12 weeks. You will work 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights from 6-6, earning £15.14 per hour and paid weekly.

Location is Kirkby with duties around production lines and factory processes. Experience in production is essential; extrusion line experience is preferred. You must pass a drug/alcohol test and be able to lift up to 25kg in a dusty environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production role is essential.
• Experience operating an extrusion line is preferred.
• All candidates must pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Heavy lifting up to 25kg is required.
• Ability to work in dusty environments; overalls provided.

Responsibilities

• Operating large-scale machinery to manufacture products for customer orders.
• Operating an extrusion lines.
• Working to order sheets.
• Packing products at the end of the production process.
• Palletising finished products.
• Working to strict H&S procedures.
