Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative in Kirkby, Merseyside to work on a temporary contract with potential for permanency after 12 weeks. You will operate large-scale machinery and an extrusion line, on a 4 on/4 off schedule (2 days and 2 nights, 6-6).

Pay is £15.14 per hour, with weekly wages. Previous production experience is essential; you must pass a drug and alcohol test, be able to lift up to 25 kg, and work in a dusty environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production role is essential.
• Experience operating an extrusion line is preferred.
• All candidates must pass a drug and alcohol test.
• The role requires heavy lifting of up to 25kg.
• Candidates must be prepared to work in a dusty environment, overalls are provided.
• Proactive and able to work independently, as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating large-scale machinery to manufacture products for customer orders.
• Operating an extrusion line.
• Working to order sheets.
• Packing products at the end of the production process.
• Palletising finished products.
• Working to strict H&S procedures.
