Job summary

Crown Peterborough is seeking an experienced Production Line Team Leader to oversee the safe, efficient operation of the production line, drive quality and output targets, and minimise downtime on shift.

You will coach and develop your team, enforce high standards, and work with cross-functional colleagues to deliver consistent manufacturing performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or developing a production team.
• Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance.

The Opportunity

In this hands-on leadership role, you will lead the safe and efficient operation of the production line, ensuring quality, output and performance targets are achieved. You'll coordinate day-to-day activities, minimise downtime, drive continuous improvement and maintain high operational standards.

Leading from the front, you'll coach and develop your team, build accountability, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional manufacturing performance.

What You'll Bring

Hands-on experience within a fast-paced production environment, as this is a practical leadership role with direct involvement on the production line.

A Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance is essential. Previous experience leading or developing a team within a manufacturing environment will be highly beneficial.
