Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Thetford is seeking a Production Line Manager to lead our Packing Department. The role operates on a 4-on 4-off cycle with days 0600-1800 or nights 1800-0600, driving efficiency and compliance.

You will coach a team, ensure Health & Safety and GMP readiness, and deliver on KPIs while maintaining product specifications. The ideal candidate has strong people management skills, a background in food manufacturing, and a track record of senior-level deputising and ops

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to deputise for senior management.
• Strong succession planning mindset.
• Experience leading teams at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Health and Safety standards.
• Maintain GMP/Audit Readiness.
• Lead and develop a production team.
• Meet product/customer specifications.
• Support equipment changeovers and asset care.
• Coach and mentor staff to improve KPIs.
• Conduct performance reviews and appraisals.
• Collaborate with Production Managers on improvements.
