Job summary

Culina, a leading UK supply chain specialist, is seeking a confident Production Line Leader at our Worksop site to drive a fast-moving co-packing and manufacturing operation. You will lead shifts, ensure safety and quality, and push performance against KPIs while maintaining strong team development and compliant processes.

You will set up lines, monitor output and waste, and coach staff to hit targets in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment (FMCG/food).
• Ability to motivate, coach and develop a team to meet targets.
• Self-motivated, results-driven with strong ownership.
• Solid understanding of production machinery, processes and best practice.
• Strong attention to detail with paperwork, stock, and shift handovers.
• Clear and confident communication across levels.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-moving setting.
• Proactive mindset for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Set up the production line each shift, carrying out start-up checks and health and safety checks.
• Lead, motivate and support the team to achieve production targets and high performance.
• Train and guide colleagues on the line to build capability and confidence.
• Ensure finished products meet client specifications and quality expectations.
• Monitor KPIs such as output, downtime and waste to improve efficiency.
• Drive productivity hourly and daily to deliver production plans in full.
• Champion best practice across health, safety, hygiene and quality standards.
• Keep paperwork and systems up to date with company procedures.
• Ensure all areas are audit-ready and compliant with hygiene standards.
