Job summary

IPS at Culina Group is seeking a Production Line Supervisor to join the Saint Helens site, leading co-packing and manufacturing operations for major retailers and FMCG brands.

You will lead Production Line Leaders and Operatives across three rotating shifts, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and ensure targets are met while maintaining high standards.

This permanent role offers a structured development path within a supportive, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory or team leader experience with a track record of meeting production targets.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and operational best practice.
• Strong leadership to motivate and engage a diverse workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making abilities.
• Health & Safety Level 2 and NVQ Level 2 in Team Leading or Packing Operations would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and support a team across shifts to train, schedule, and perform to high standards.
• Motivate teams to achieve hourly and daily production targets in a fast-paced setting.
• Monitor product quality to meet specifications and escalate issues as needed.
• Maximise production efficiency to deliver plans on an hourly and daily basis.
• Use integrated management systems to support smooth operations.
• Promote health, safety, and quality best practices and compliance with site procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and costs.
• Complete all paperwork and system updates accurately.
