Job summary

Raytheon UK in Glenrothes is seeking a Production Specialist to support the Production Team Leaders and oversee Production Associates in delivering high-quality electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.

You will be the focal point for production, quality and personnel queries on the day shift, coordinating daily activities, driving improvements and ensuring safety and compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• IT literate with Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
• Experience from factory, engineering or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on building and/or testing tasks.
• Coordinate daily production activities and chair shift start-up meetings.
• Monitor production metrics, downtime, WIP, material availability and inventory.
• Allocate resources and manage workflow to meet schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement with Engineering, Quality, Planning and Materials.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs and 5S/Health & Safety standards.
