Job summary

Fluke, a Fortive subsidiary, seeks a Production Manager to lead the Norwich production area under the Fortive Business System. You will drive daily operations, coach team leaders, and oversee scheduling, quality and cost targets, ensuring On Time Delivery of all products from the Norwich facility.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, performance management, and active involvement in Kaizens and daily management meetings. Collaboration with global teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams and managing daily operations.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement using structured methodologies.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct Production Team Leaders and Planners to meet schedules.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance for all Norwich outputs.
• Implement Fortive Business System (FBS) processes and kaizen events.
• Conduct performance appraisals and coaching for team members.
• Manage discretionary spend within approved budgets and improve productivity.
