Job summary

Bet365 is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to keep our digital world running smoothly across high-traffic global platforms. You will respond to incidents, investigate issues, escalate where needed, and resolve problems to ensure continuous service.

Training is provided, and you’ll work with a talented team to sustain reliability of critical infra. You’ll gain exposure to production IT services, collaborate with stakeholders, and handle changes and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Advanced analytical and root-cause troubleshooting capabilities.
• Hands-on proficiency with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Autonomous management of complex technical tasks.
• Proactive and decisive under pressure.
• Rapid acquisition of complex technical workflows.
• Ability to handle multiple high-priority issues simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Respond to, investigate, escalate, and resolve critical incidents affecting services.
• Provide support to production IT services and business systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain reliability of infrastructure.
• Tackle complex technical puzzles and manage changes; training provided.
• Engage with senior managers and stakeholders during escalated issues.
• Record changes and incidents in the Helix ticketing system.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and ensure schedule adherence.
• Communicate with stakeholders at key times.
• Serve as frontline contact for production infrastructure.
