Job summary

Newcastle United is seeking a Creative Artworker to turn approved concepts into production-ready assets across digital, print, retail and social channels. You will safeguard brand standards while delivering accurate, print- and screen-ready files.

Working with the wider Creative team, you will optimize assets for various platforms and support consistent workflows, ensuring high-quality output and efficient delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, high-quality artwork for print, digital, social and retail channels, ensuring all assets meet the required technical and brand standards.
• Translate approved creative concepts into final production-ready assets without compromising the original creative vision.
• Configure and optimise files for their intended platform, format, supplier or production process.
• Maintain and update design templates, style guides, asset libraries and production files to support consistency and efficiency.
• Work closely with designers to ensure technical execution aligns with agreed creative direction.
• Act as a technical checkpoint between the Creative team and external suppliers, including printers, manufacturers and agencies.
• Review production specifications and proactively identify technical risks, limitations or errors before final production.
• Support creative colleagues by providing guidance on production requirements, technical limitations and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to workflows, templates, file management and quality control processes.
• Help introduce new tools, systems and production techniques that improve efficiency and maintain quality standards
