Job summary

Newcastle United is seeking a Creative Artworker to translate concepts into production-ready assets across print, digital, retail and social channels. You will apply high standards of brand quality and technical accuracy in a fast-paced, audience-focused environment.

Working with the Creative team, you will optimise files for various platforms and suppliers, maintain templates and asset libraries, and help refine workflows to reduce production risks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, high-quality artwork for print, digital, social and retail channels, ensuring all assets meet the required technical and brand standards.
• Translate approved creative concepts into final production-ready assets without compromising the original creative vision.
• Configure and optimise files for their intended platform, format, supplier or production process.
• Maintain and update design templates, style guides, asset libraries and production files to support consistency and efficiency.
• Work closely with designers to ensure technical execution aligns with agreed creative direction.
• Act as a technical checkpoint between the Creative team and external suppliers, including printers, manufacturers and agencies.
• Review production specifications and proactively identify technical risks, limitations or errors before final production.
• Support creative colleagues by providing guidance on production requirements, technical limitations and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to workflows, templates, file management and quality control processes.
• Help introduce new tools, systems and production techniques that improve efficiency and maintain quality standards
