Job summary

Newcastle United in Newcastle Upon Tyne is seeking a Creative Artworker to turn approved concepts into production-ready assets across digital, print, retail and social channels. You will ensure high-quality artwork meets brand and technical specifications, supporting the wider Creative team with efficient production delivery.

You will work across platforms, optimise files for suppliers, and help maintain templates and asset libraries to ensure consistency and reduce production risks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, high-quality artwork for print, digital, social and retail channels, ensuring all assets meet the required technical and brand standards.
• Translate approved creative concepts into final production-ready assets without compromising the original creative vision.
• Configure and optimise files for their intended platform, format, supplier or production process.
• Maintain and update design templates, style guides, asset libraries and production files to support consistency and efficiency.
• Work closely with designers to ensure technical execution aligns with agreed creative direction.
• Act as a technical checkpoint between the Creative team and external suppliers, including printers, manufacturers and agencies.
• Review production specifications and proactively identify technical risks, limitations or errors before final production.
• Support creative colleagues by providing guidance on production requirements, technical limitations and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to workflows, templates, file management and quality control processes.
• Help introduce new tools, systems and production techniques that improve efficiency and maintain quality standards
