Amberley Labels in Blandford is seeking a Digicon Operative to join our Digital department. You will be part of the Digital Print team and support daily press operations, ensuring high quality output.

Candidates should have great attention to detail, be a team player, and demonstrate a can-do attitude. You will work on a two-week rotation with early and late shifts, be punctual, and commit to training and procedures.

Aufgaben

• Be an integral part of the Digital Print team.
• Support the team when required.
• Ensure policies, procedures and systems are adhered.
• Assist with training and running the ABG Digicon presses including varnishing and laminating.
• Ensure all Digicon jobs are ready for the press.
• Maintain QA standards and housekeeping as per QA Procedures Handbook.
• Work with Production Manager/Team Leader to ensure timely press loading.
• Attend work reliably and punctually.
• Participate in training and adopt new procedures.
• Build professional relationships with internal and external contacts.

We are currently recruiting for a Digicon Operative to join our Digital department based at the Amberley site in Blandford . Suitable candidates would have great attention to detail, demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitudee and be a team player.

Hours : 2 week rotation : Monday -Friday 06:00-14:00 / Monday -Thursday 14:00-00:00

About the job

Be an integral part of the Digital Print team

Support the team when required

Ensure company policies, procedures and systems are adhered to within area of responsibility

Assist with training and running the ABG Digicon presses including varnishing, laminating

Ensure all Digicon jobs are ready for the press

Ensure quality assurance, maintenance and ‘housekeeping’ standards are adhered to as set out in the QA Procedures Handbook

Work directly with the Production Manager and/or Team Leader to ensure that press loading is completed in a timely manner

Attend work reliably and punctually

Attend all training as required and take part in a positive manner

Know where Amberley procedures and the company handbook are kept, and be aware of and follow their contents

Ensure awareness of new procedures and apply them to your daily work practice accordingly

Produce work to a high standard set by the customer and QA department

Provide holiday cover and extra press cover when needed and be flexible with shift patterns when required

Build stronger working relationships and be an integral part of the team

Develop and maintain professional relationships with all internal and external contacts

Build trust to encourage stronger working relationships

Timely and accurate reporting
