Job summary

Paragon Talent Solutions in Dagenham is seeking a skilled Print Finisher to join the night-shift production finishing department. You will operate a range of digital finishing equipment, ensuring all jobs meet specifications, are quality checked, and dispatched on time.

The role demands strong attention to detail, hands-on knowledge of finishing equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced print environment. Night shifts run 6pm–6am with 3x12 hour nights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a print finishing or production environment (digital print experience preferred).
• Hands-on knowledge of finishing equipment (e.g. guillotines, laminators, binders, folders).
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment such as cutters, folders, laminators, binders.
• Ensure all jobs are completed to the correct specification, quality checked and dispatched on time.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in all work produced.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organised.
• Support workflow efficiency by preparing materials and setting up machines for upcoming jobs.
• Report machine issues promptly and assist with routine maintenance as required.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to prioritise tasks and meet daily production schedules.
• Adhere to company processes and contribute to reducing waste and errors.
• Support cross-training within the team to build flexibility and skills.

Department: Production

Finishing Reporting to: Night Operations Manager

Location: Dagenham

Hours: 3x 12 hour nights 36 hours per week 6pm - 6am hours per week (18:00pm - 06:00am)

Paragon are looking for a skilled Print Finisher to join our busy production finishing department on the night shift. You will be responsible for operating a range of digital finishing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials, ensuring all jobs are completed to specification, on time, and to the highest standard using Heidelberg XL 106 cut star 10 colour and XL 6 colour with coating unit. This role requires excellent attention to detail, technical knowledge of finishing processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced print production environment.

Pay range and compensation package

• £42,820 with overtime opportunities.
