Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing operations.
• Investigate manufacturing issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Support production teams in resolving technical and process-related challenges.
• Respond to production issues to minimise disruption and recover output.
• Analyse manufacturing performance data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Facilitate 5S and workplace organisation activities.
• Support lean manufacturing and waste reduction projects.
• Investigate downtime events and identify root causes.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to reduce recurring downtime.
• Monitor equipment reliability and manufacturing performance trends.
• Support preventative maintenance improvement activities.
• Create and maintain manufacturing procedures, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Develop standard work methods to improve repeatability and product quality.
• Ensure manufacturing documentation remains accurate and up to date.
• Support internal quality investigations and root cause analysis activities.
• Participate in NCR, concession and corrective action investigations.
• Work with Quality and Engineering teams to improve process capability.
• Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Analyse production flow and identify bottlenecks.
• Support capacity reviews and workload planning activities.
• Assist with labour utilisation and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
• Collect, analyse and report manufacturing performance data.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing KPIs.
• Support management reporting activities relating to productivity, downtime, quality and delivery.
