Redline Group is seeking a Production Engineer to join an innovative engineering team in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, contributing to the manufacturing, testing and continuous improvement of advanced fire detection products.

Based in Hitchin, you will support day-to-day manufacturing, new product introduction and process improvement, working closely with production, quality and supply chain teams, PCBA testing and test equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering with electronics bias.
• Experience with PCBs/PCBAs and production testing.
• Experience with continuous improvement and structured problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Support production teams with technical problem solving and engineering expertise.
• Lead continuous improvement and NPI activities.
• Develop and update SOPs, process docs, and operating instructions.
• Support PCBA testing, test equipment and production software.
• Investigate test failures and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and improve manufacturing and testing processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on PCBA testing and NPI.
