Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd in North London is seeking a Production Engineer to act as the key link between design, manufacturing and quality. You will support electronic manufacturing challenges and influence New Product Introduction from concept through production.

This hands-on role focuses on fault-finding to component level, setting up and improving production processes, and applying Lean/Six Sigma to reduce waste and increase efficiency across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Electronic, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience fault-finding to component level in electronics environments.
• Ability to write and develop test specifications and production documentation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and practice.
• Experience identifying production issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience supporting functional testing and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support shop floor activities and assist with functional testing and failure analysis.
• Maintain clear work instructions, operating procedures and test specifications.
• Translate engineering requirements into practical production and test documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement of production processes using Lean/Six Sigma.
