Job summary

Redline Group is seeking an NPI Engineer to join a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation in Fareham, Hampshire. The role focuses on taking new products from design through to full-scale manufacture and ensuring smooth transfer to production.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain and project teams to validate designs, develop processes, and ensure production readiness across the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the introduction of new products into manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability issues are identified and resolved.
• Develop detailed manufacturing work instructions and build documentation.
• Plan prototype, OIB, and pilot builds, capturing lessons learned.
• Contribute to design reviews with recommendations to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Train production personnel on new products, processes, and engineering changes.
