Production Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Production Engineer to join a growing and innovative company based in Oxford.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting design for manufacturing and testing of our clients’ products. You will be responsible for identifying problems and recommending effective solutions, as well as developing CAD/CAM models and drawings for parts and sub-assemblies. You will also build and characterise jigs and fixtures required for testing, and create detailed Manufacturing and Assembly Procedures (MAPs) for various operations. Additionally, you’ll be involved in the review and approval of engineering drawings.

Experience required for this Production Engineer role:

• Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally within a highly regulated industry (e.g., medical, aerospace, automotive).
• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawing principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
