Job summary

International Baccalaureate is seeking a Production Designer to join the Exam Publishing Department at IB Global Centre, Cardiff. You will manage visual design and production of IB assessments across languages, ensuring clarity, accessibility and accuracy.

The role is a fixed-term, full-time contract (two posts), hybrid with office presence one day per week, circa £32,000 depending on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent eye for detail and meticulous accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team and manage changing priorities.
• Strong typography and design skills.
• Advanced communication skills and problem-solving.
• Experience with creating and editing visual materials for assessments.
• Degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build and amend IB assessments with focus on layout clarity and accessibility.
• Design and edit images, illustrations and graphics in line with house style.
• Maintain templates and design style guides for consistency across languages.
• Support publishing team in resolving technical design issues.
