Job summary

Mitchells and Butlers PLC is offering a full-time Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in a busy kitchen. You will work under the supervision of passionate chefs, gaining a nationally recognised qualification while supporting daily kitchen operations and brand standards.

The programme runs over 15 months with on‑the‑job training, mentoring, and access to progression opportunities across our brands. No prior experience required, just a desire to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Passion for cooking and pride in the kitchen.
• Willing to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate openly with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standards.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Keep kitchen and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
