Rubicon Recruitment Agency in Ferndown is seeking a Production Assembler for a hands-on role in a clean, air conditioned environment. The position offers a temp to perm pathway with long-term stability in a well-regarded manufacturing business.

As a Production Assembler you will build and test electro-mechanical components to work instructions, perform electrical safety tests, and process orders via an ERP system. The role emphasizes accuracy, lean methods and quality focus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in light production assembly, kitting and packing.
• Experience working in a cleanroom or laboratory environment desirable.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems advantageous.
• Working knowledge of a quality system driven environment (ISO 9001 or similar) desirable.
• Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and testing electro-mechanical components to work instructions and quality procedures
• Carrying out electrical safety testing and calibration using standard test equipment
• Assembling, packing, labelling and inspecting consumable and reagent products
• Processing orders through the ERP system
• Performing routine cycle counts and maintaining an organised work cell
• Supporting continuous improvement within a lean manufacturing environment
