Job summary

The AA in London is seeking an experienced AI Engineer who has personally built, deployed and operated production AI/ML systems, taking ownership from problem to live operation and ongoing optimisation.

You’ll work across predictive analytics, automation, generative AI and agent-based systems, collaborating with data scientists, product managers, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI capabilities with responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on AI/ML engineering with production delivery.
• Ability to deploy and operate AI systems and explain contributions.
• End-to-end ownership across data, model and production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and operate scalable AI/ML applications and data pipelines.
• Own technical outcomes from problem definition to production deployment and monitoring.
• Make pragmatic trade-offs on model performance, latency, cost and reliability.
• Build production capability with CI/CD, containerisation and cloud-native practices.
• Develop reusable components and provide technical guidance and reviews.
• Embed responsible AI principles including fairness, transparency and privacy.
