Job summary

IFS is seeking experienced Lead/Senior Software Engineers to join the Enterprise Asset Management team and play a leading role in designing, building and evolving modern enterprise software.

You’ll help deliver scalable, secure and high-quality software that solves complex customer challenges while applying modern engineering practices and AI capabilities where they create genuine business value.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Go and modern backend development experience.
• Proven ability to design and ship distributed systems and microservices.
• Deep knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architectures.
• Experience building scalable, cloud-native apps with Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Proficiency with AWS and/or Azure; CI/CD and automated testing.
• Security-focused design including authentication and authorization and DevSecOps.
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities, including LLMs, into production software.
• Understanding of RAG, tool calling and agentic workflows where appropriate.
• Experience with AI observability and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Mentor engineers, drive engineering excellence and influence technical strategy.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to ship scalable software.
• Apply AI capabilities to enhance product value while ensuring reliability and security.
