Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions Ltd in Bolton is seeking an organised, technically minded candidate to oversee product testing and quality assurance within a manufacturing setting. You will coordinate test plans, manage facilities, and ensure compliance with required specifications.

The role demands precise record-keeping, proactive communication with stakeholders, and the ability to travel to external sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Product testing, Quality Assurance or similar.
• Experience within Manufacturing or Engineering environment.
• A full driving licence and flexibility to travel to external sites.

Responsibilities

• Product Testing & Coordination: Support the planning and delivery of product testing and certification activities, attending internal and external test facilities to oversee testing arrangements and ensure compliance with agreed test plans.
• Test Logistics & Preparation: Coordinate test bookings, specimen preparation, transportation, equipment, documentation and site access, ensuring engineering drawings, specifications and product configurations are accurate and available before testing.
• Technical Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed testing records, including observations, photographs, results and supporting evidence. Review draft test reports, coordinate approvals and ensure certification documentation is accurately controlled and stored.
• Stakeholder & Supplier Liaison: Work closely with Engineering, Production, Projects, Quality, external laboratories and accredited certification bodies to coordinate testing programmes, resolve issues and communicate progress.
• Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Maintain awareness of relevant engineering standards, testing procedures and certification requirements, identifying potential risks, monitoring schedules and contributing to improvements in testing and assurance processes.
