Job summary

NRL in Bolton is seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to support planning and delivering product tests and certification activities for safety-critical products. You will attend test facilities, coordinate logistics, and ensure documentation is complete and traceable.

The role requires an engineering qualification (HND/HNC or equivalent), proven experience in testing or compliance, and strong communication skills. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel or extend hours are expected.

Qualifications

• HND/HNC in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in product testing, certification, quality or compliance.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and test plans.
• Excellent organisation and record-keeping.
• Clear written and verbal communication with internal/external teams.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of product tests and assessment activities.
• Coordinate test facilities, logistics, and documentation.
• Ensure drawings, specifications and configurations are accurate before testing.
• Maintain test plans and trackers, escalating risks as needed.
• Provide accurate reporting to stakeholders.
