Job summary

ServeMate Orders is hiring a customer support specialist to assist takeaway and restaurant owners from home. You will answer questions via phone, live chat, WhatsApp and support tickets, helping shops with till systems, online ordering, kiosks, kitchen screens and printers.

Training on the ServeMate platform is provided, and you can work from home with flexible hours. Ideal candidates are quick and confident on a computer, patient communicators, and organized enough to handle multiple chats at

• Log problems clearly and pass technical issues to the right person.
• Help keep our help centre guides up to date with what customers are asking.

Job description

You'll be the friendly voice of ServeMate. Takeaway and restaurant owners come to you when they need a hand, and you get them sorted so they can get back to the food.

You'll work from home, helping customers by phone, live chat, WhatsApp and support tickets inside ServeMate. You don't need to know our system yet. We'll train you on all of it.

What you'll do

• Help shops with their till, online ordering, kiosks, kitchen screens, TV menus and printers
• Walk new customers through getting set up
• Log problems clearly and pass anything technical to the right person
• Help keep our help centre guides up to date with what customers are asking

• Clear, patient and genuinely likes helping people
• Organised enough to handle a few chats at once
• A quiet place to work from home and a reliable internet connection

Nice to have

• Experience working in or with takeaways or restaurants
• Customer support or helpdesk experience
